Alex

Alex has had a lifelong interest in all things magical and metaphysical. In 2012, he began offering tarot card readings publicly, as well as making spiritual oils and candles with a friend under the name Illusia, and later, Polaris Rising. The desire to help others and support the community is what really drove him to open Hearthside Candles & Curios in 2016 as a place where people can come from all over the Midwest and beyond.

Alex draws upon his years of practice and experience when offering his intuitive tarot readings and in teaching his wide range of spiritual classes and workshops, which always include plenty of personal anecdotes and a touch (or heaping helping!) of humor. One of his many goals with Hearthside and in sharing his talents is to be able to assist others on their journey while helping promote equity and inclusivity in the spiritual community.
